Ms. Marti Awad (Board Member)

Ms. Awad is a Vice President with the Global Wealth Management Group at Merrill Lynch and has been a financial advisor for ten years. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder and a member of both the Texas and New York State Bar Associations. At Merrill she has a national practice and works extensively with executives of public and private companies, family offices, charitable entities, and wealthy individuals in all aspects of wealth management. Prior to her current role, Ms. Awad practiced tax law for more than six years with the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and before that she worked in the Tax Consulting Group of Coopers & Lybrand. Beyond her vast experience and expertise in wealth management and taxation, Marti is heavily engaged in Denver’s non-profit community. Ms. Awad is Co-Founder of Denver Health Foundation’s Level One Society and served as its Chairman of the Board for the first four years. Additionally, she serves as a board member for the Denver Health Foundation, Project PAVE, the Hispanic Chamber Education Foundation and 9Health Fair.
