David Singer – Lead Founder and Head of School

The Lead Founder & Head of School, David Singer, is an urban educator with successful teaching and leadership experience in Denver in the non-profit and for-profit sectors, co-founding two urban schools and leading the five-year growth of a private franchise company. Through the Building Excellent Schools Fellowship, the Lead Founder and Head of School received extensive training in instructional leadership, operations, finance, and governance. In addition to deep exposure to the highest performing urban charter schools locally and nationally, the Lead Founder completed leadership residencies in two of the highest performing charter schools in the nation (Elm City College Prep and Excel Academy).
