This list is intended as a starting point of potentially helpful resources depending on an individual’s needs. This is also a living document – we will be actively updating the document as we identify different resources for families.

- GIVE Center
- Can provide essential hygiene items and put families in touch with other community partners for other supports
- Location:: First floor of the Richard T. Castro Human Services Center, located at 1200 Federal Blvd.
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 9 am-3 pm
- The Gathering Place
- Services to women, children, and transgender individuals who are experiencing poverty or homelessness.

- Love Northeast Denver
- Christian-affiliated organization: “Love Northeast Denver seeks to provide support and aid as best as possible to those who have need. In a world that often preaches, “Every man for himself,” we believe that our best resources to get through this crisis are each other.”
- Denver Public Schools will offer free meals to all Denver students at 11 locations throughout the city, using a grab-and-go style system, weekdays from Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3. Breakfast will be served from 8-9 am and Lunch will be served from 12-1 pm. Select Denver recreation centers will be serving dinner to children 18 years old and younger. Families may also pick up food boxes during dinner services. Details are available on the DPS website.

- Two Months of Free Comcast for Low-Income Qualified Households
- Starting March 16, if you sign up for internet service, you will receive two free months of service.
- Note: Once approved, it will take 7-10 business days to receive a Welcome Kit and Internet equipment.
- Comcast Open Wi-Fi Hotspots available
- Search for and connect to Wi-Fi hotspots for free by downloading the Xfinity app
- Comcast offering ‘Internet Essentials’ package free for low-income customers for 60 days
- Energy Bill Payment Assistance: This organization can support you through the application process and determine if you’re eligible for support in paying your energy bills
- Temporary Rental and Utility Assistance Program: The Temporary Rental and Utility Assistance program (TRUA) offers resources to Denver residents who are facing a housing crisis or hardship to help prevent eviction or displacement.
- Xcel Suspended Service Disconnections: Xcel released a statement, that they will not disconnect any customers from service until further notice due to COVID-19.

I wouldn’t take my girls anywhere else in the city. The teachers are caring and the main focus is preparing children for college. I feel like all schools should be like University Prep.
